Kuku Privacy Policy
Kuku ("the app") is designed with your privacy first. This policy applies to all use of the app by its users.
1. The developer does not collect or track
The app contains no advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs. There is no developer server that receives your data, and the developer does not track you.
2. Where your data lives
Your charts and your bookmarks (pages you saved from search results) are stored only on your device. AI provider API keys are stored only in your device's keychain.
3. Information sent externally (only on your action)
- Cloud AI generation: your central theme and entered items are sent directly to the AI provider you selected (Anthropic / Google / OpenAI) using your own API key. Their handling of this data is governed by their privacy policies.
- Web search & in-app browser: when you tap a cell to search, an in-app browser (WKWebView) opens the search engine (Google). The search query (theme and cell terms) is sent to Google, and — as with normal web browsing — standard information such as your IP address, User-Agent, and cookies is sent to the sites you visit. Cookies persist within the in-app browser. The developer does not track you and cannot access your browsing, but the search engine's and visited sites' handling of your data (including cookies and any tracking, especially if you are signed in to that service) is governed by their own privacy policies.
- On-device AI generation (Apple Intelligence) runs entirely on your device with no network access.
4. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store; the developer never accesses your payment information.
